WOMEN OF WARD

The Women of Ward (WOW) is a ministry that seeks to strengthen the ties of the female members of Ward Chapel in mutual love and fellowship, christian service and living for Christ. Some of the activities include sponsoring Women's Day and providing a special activity for the males of the church at Father's Day. There is also an Adult Praise Dance team.

SARAH'S KITCHEN

Sarah's Kitchen is a community outreach ministry that caters to the Senior citizens of the Winter Park area. It meets on Thursdays of each week at 11:00 am for food, fellowship and information that affects seniors. Other special activities are planned throughout the year.

FOOD PANTRY

The Food Pantry is a community outreach ministry of the Cora Jackson Women's Missionary Society. It distributes food to needy families the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 - 11:30 am. Recipients must meet eligibility requirement.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS COMMITTEE

The Health and Wellness Committee seeks to encourage healthy living by encouraging better eating choices and habits and exercise. The committee holds a session each quarter where healthy living tips are provided along with a light exercise workout. Weights, BMIs and blood pressure checks are also provided.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY

The purpose of the Marriage Ministry is to strengthen the foundation of the Christian family. It provides married couples the opportunity to meet and discuss issues relative to maintaining a strong marriage. It also provides opportunities for couples to fellowship together.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY

The Transportation Ministry is available to provide transportation for members and guests who wish to attend services and events at the church but do not have access to transportation. The ministry also provides transportation for any organization of the church to attend outside meetings and events. To request transportation please contact the church office.
